Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Global One Security Services, Inc. (“Global One Security,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (PPO #120601) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at globalonesecurity.com, our client portal, our officer application, and our private security services (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes the privacy rights of California residents.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Contact & inquiry information — name, company, email, phone number, and the details you provide when you request a quote, contact us, or apply for a job.
  • Resident vehicle safelist information — when a resident registers a vehicle at a property we service: name, unit number, license plate, vehicle description, and contact details.
  • Client account information — for property owners/managers with a portal account: name, business and billing details, and the properties associated with the account.
  • Employee & applicant information — for our officers and staff: identifiers, badge/employee number, credentials, pay and scheduling data, and records created in the course of employment.
  • Security operations records — reports and related records our officers create at serviced properties (e.g., activity reports, incident reports, citations), which may reference individuals involved in an event.
  • Technical information — collected automatically when you use the Services, such as IP address, device and browser type, and essential cookies used to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Services and our security operations.
  • To respond to inquiries, quotes, and job applications.
  • To create and deliver reports to the clients whose properties we service.
  • To administer accounts, authentication, billing, and support.
  • To maintain the safety and security of people and property, and to keep required records.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

  • Clients we service— security activity and incident records for a property are made available to that property’s authorized client contact.
  • Service providers — vendors who host our systems, deliver email, and process payments, bound to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.
  • Legal & safety — law enforcement or others when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember basic settings (such as text size). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, operate our business, and meet legal, contractual, and record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know / access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization.

8. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
